Meet Your Trainer
Schylar Postle
With over 15 years of hands-on dog training experience, Schylar Postle brings a lifetime of knowledge, skill, and passion to every dog and owner she works with. Training isn’t something she discovered as an adult — it’s something she was raised in.
Schylar grew up with a leash in her hand. She trained her first puppy at the age of four, under the guidance of her father, Jeff Postle, a respected Training Instructor at the world-renowned Tom Rose School in St. Louis, Missouri.
From that moment forward, dog training wasn’t a hobby — it was a calling.
The Experience
Schylar trained for five years at one of the East Coast’s largest high-volume facilities, building a strong foundation in behavior work, board-and-train programs, and client coaching.
That experience also made one thing clear:
Dogs don’t thrive in mass-production training.
Real results come from clear communication, personal attention, and work that strengthens the bond between dog and owner.
The Philosophy
When she returned home, Schylar founded The Dog Works with a clear purpose — to shift dog culture away from frustration and quick fixes, and toward structure, clarity, and truly enjoying life with your dog.
Her focus goes beyond obedience. She trains for calmer homes, better routines, and reliable real-world behavior.
The approach is simple and honest:
clarity, consistency, and training that actually works.
